Established by Melvin Overholt in 1982, Overholt & Sons Inc. started out as an effort to create ample work opportunities for his six children. Our origins trace back to a single outdoor storage structure located in a modest section of our farm facility. Whenever farming tasks allowed us some free time, we kept building more. By the summer of 1985, recognizing the growing demand, we constructed a dedicated workshop on the family’s land for our burgeoning outdoor storage building venture. A couple of years on, the family opted to part ways with the dairy farming and dive headfirst into the outdoor building industry. The family’s commitment to producing top-notch outdoor storage solutions remains unchanged to this day.
